Alternate Text or Title of article
Ottawa, Ontario

In an era of mounting trade tensions, there is a clear need to advance North American cooperation on trade and security between Canada, Mexico and the United States. Join policymakers, industry leaders and government officials from Canada, Mexico, and the United States at the fifth annual North American Process Symposium to discuss how to strengthen North American competitiveness and security.

The School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary, the School of Global Studies at Universidad Anáhuac México and the College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University invite you to attend this symposium, which will play a key role in promoting goals and specific recommendations to the three nations and their officials on the elements needed for a globally competitive North America.

Discussions at the previous four symposia have made it clear that business is leading the way to a more integrated and efficient North America. Through a series of working groups and plenary sessions, attendees will discuss and develop specific and realistic recommendations for North American cooperation in the sectors of automotive manufacturing, cybersecurity of infrastructure and energy assets and the agriculture and food production sectors. These recommendations will be disseminated to policymakers in the three countries to inform ongoing and future policy decisions about the future of North American trade policy.
