Take an in-depth look at the Canadian personal income tax (PIT) system and ideas for reform.  This symposium will provide a platform to explore options for reforming the largest single source of revenue for Canadian governments.  Specific aspects of the system including the progressivity of the PIT, unit of taxation, treatment of retirement savings, delivery of social benefits as well as the history of PIT and previous reforms will be examined.  The School is pleased to partner with the Canadian Tax Foundation on this event.
