Energy Policy and Regulatory Frameworks

The Energy Policy and Regulatory Frameworks Program is a policy initiative aimed at offering a forum where policymakers, regulators, industry, consumers and research organizations can discuss, without prejudice, innovative solutions to complex regulatory issues. The objective of the program is to encourage on-going, informed and effective dialogue among these groups on alternatives and reforms that can measurably increase Canada’s prosperity through responsible development and regulation of energy sources and uses. The program includes research and discussion on evolving regulatory and policy issues and alternative approaches in the energy sector.
