The Sinneave Family Foundation, the University of Calgary’s Hotchkiss Brain Institute and The School of Public Policy are pleased to host an event to pay tribute to the memory of the Hon. James Flaherty, former federal Minister of Finance, and to raise funds for a legacy contribution to the Abilities Centre in Whitby, ON.

This tribute event features an expert panel that will address the topic Autism: New Discoveries and Directions.  Autism is an issue that Mr. Flaherty was deeply committed to, both in his personal and professional life. The panel will be followed by cocktails and dinner, and the Hon. Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, will bring greetings from the Government of Canada. Christine Elliott, Mr. Flaherty's spouse, will be participating in the panel and delivering remarks at the dinner.
