Governance

The ERGP is guided by an Advisory Committee that provides diverse and relevant perspectives on the services we provide to our clients. Members of the committee include people who work in the petroleum and mining industry and people with relevant expertise within the University of Calgary and School of Public Policy, such as research specialties and international relations.

Through constructive discussions with the Advisory Committee, the ERGP identifies opportunities and manages challenges to ensure we contribute to better policy outcomes for our clients.

Funding

We charge our clients a fee to deliver courses, workshops and seminars, which provides a portion of the ERGP’s revenue. We are also funded by the University of Calgary, research grants from a variety of organizations including the provincial and federal governments, and donors.
