Research / Teaching

The School was built on a vision of tackling public policy issues with empirical, hard-hitting, fact-based research that is objective, peer-reviewed and prescriptive. We combine the academic discipline of a university with the agility and relevance of a think tank.

Our research does not go on a shelf where academic journals die – instead our research is written to be consumed by the general public, understood by policy leaders and influencers, and is widely distributed by traditional and social media.

Our output is significant – we publish over 60 papers per year.

Our research is focused in four areas:

The School of Public Policy believes that practitioner knowledge improves research. That is why we have attracted a large and diverse group of Fellows from business, politics, regulatory affairs as well as academia. We bridge the gap between business, government and academia by bringing these experts together over joint research, symposia and working partnerships.
